NBC’s Chuck, Heroes, andMy Own Worst Enemy continue to lose viewers, according to preliminary overnight ratings, with My Own Worst Enemy in particular struggling on Mondays. This week, Chuck dipped to 6.2 million viewers at 8 p.m., a drop of about 300k from the show’s previous installment (last week, it was replaced by Deal or No Deal). Heroes returned after its own seven-day hiatus (Saturday Night Live‘s election special took over its time slot last week) with only 7.9 million viewers, a 4 percent dip from its most recent airing. And My Own Worst Enemy saw an even bigger drop in viewership: Only 4.3 million fans tuned in for the Christian Slater action drama on Monday, a loss of 1 million viewers.
All of that cleared the way for ABC to win the evening yet again in total viewers, thanks to a little show called Dancing With the Stars, which averaged 18.6 million viewers, a boost of 1.2 million from last week’s edition. At 9:30 p.m., Samantha Who? benefited from the lack of SNL competition by snagging 11 million pairs of eyeballs, a nice leap up from last week’s 9.7 million. Even Boston Legal got a boost: It drew 8.9 million viewers, a 24 percent bump from last week.
